Our verdict
The bottom line
A perfectly fine first cordless if you already own Worx 20V tools. PowerShare is the actual reason to buy. Outclassed on raw mower performance by the bigger Worx WG779E but fits the small-lawn / cross-tool buyer cleanly.

Buying second-hand
Used-market tip
£30–80 used. PowerShare battery resale is moderate. Test both batteries individually. Worx batteries are heavily counterfeited — buy from sellers with receipts. Mower is light and easily carried, so abuse is common — flip and inspect for cracks.
Where to look: Facebook Marketplace and Gumtree are usually 20–30% cheaper than eBay UK for petrol mowers because most sellers want local pickup. eBay tends to win on cordless and electric (lighter, easier to ship). Always insist on a starting demonstration before paying.
