Vintage & classic mowers.

The mowers that won't appear in any current brochure but still turn up on Marketplace every week. Out-of-production but parts-supported, simple enough to maintain in a garden shed, and — for the right buyer — better value than anything new.

Why bother? A mid-1990s Briggs I/C is built to a standard nothing in the entry tier matches today. A Suffolk Punch will cut a bowling-green stripe for another 30 years if you can find one. And a heritage Hayter Heritage 11/30 with a Honda GCV under the bonnet is the closest thing to a buy-it-for-life ride-on.
