Our verdict
A no-frills hover mower for small lawns and awkward shapes. It does not collect, so you either rake up or let fine clippings fall, and the cut height tops out low. For the money it is a sensible buy if you have a compact garden and do not mind the cable.

Buying second-hand
Hover mowers wear at the fan and skirt, so check the underside for cracks. Around £45 to £55 used is fair given how cheap they are new.
